THE STORY OF ARAMESH || RETREAT

Since 2010, Jill and Faramarz Hidaji have been creating small self-improvement workshops for friends & guests to enjoy. What began as our personal journey has grown into transformative engagements that have the power to awaken and renew.

In early 2021, at the height of the COVID lockdown, an untouched 120-acre Western North Carolina mountain property found us. From the first time we walked the trails here, we felt the calming and revitalizing energy of this land.  We set about bringing to reality a dream we have always shared: preserving a serene setting where nature speaks, and making it available to other willing inner-adventurers.

"Aramesh," as we came to call the land, is an ancient Farsi word that means "serenity" or "calmness." ARAMESH || RETREAT is how we share the restorative and transformative potential of this land.
